Welcome to Kachina Village, a pristine sustainable Alpine Eco-Community surrounded by pure wilderness at the top of Taos Ski Valley.

Located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains 15 miles northeast of historic Taos in northern New Mexico, the incorporated Village of Taos Ski Valley occupies an inclined valley starting with our primary Core Village at an elevation of 9,200 feet.

1,000 feet higher at the top of the valley, the quaint mixed-use neighborhood of Kachina Village is located in a picturesque basin where the road ends, cradled by majestic mountains at the base of Kachina Peak.

Taos Ski Valley’s unique alpine wilderness environment offers 65,000 acres of year-round recreation opportunities that include mountain biking, hiking, fishing, horse back riding & picnicking in spring, summer, fall and world-class skiing in the winter.
